There she participated in Greek theatre courses, studied ancient Greek practices, and performed in a production of Trojan Women at the Hydrama Theatre and Arts Centre. From there, she travelled to Stratford-upon-Avon to take a summer course with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Taking what she had learned across seas, Lyndsey plans to use her enlightened education and share it with her students so that they may not only learn how to become great theatre artists, but to become enriched in the beautiful history and power of theatre as well.Lyndsey also holds a B.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in directing from Atlanta’s Agnes Scott College, and a M.A. in Educational Theatre from New York University. Lyndsey brainstormed the idea of creating the Classical Remix theatre collective because of her love of classical theatre and history. She believes that it is an art form that we should learn from an early age. “It is a powerful tool for exploring our history and talking about our future.”
